the last 2months of photos

So here are the pics
So here it is I am back. Sorry it has been so long. after some poking I have decided to post some pics. of the last 2 months We had Hayley's b-day and sledding and a really great weekend in Jackson Hole, our favorite vacation spot, so it is has been so busy trying to stay up on my blog maybe I should slow down and take it easy or not. Hayley has a clean bill of health and if we could just get over our stupid colds we could party even harder. I think it is the partying to hard that is keeping us run down. this seems to be the cycle. Party get sick get better party and the cycle runs again. Fun how that all happens. I hope you are well we are doing well and wish you all a good month. he he It might be that long before I get back to it again. thanks Liz for the gentle nudge.

It was a great week. The kids have been out of school and Ron was home. It was fun to have all of us here. We hung out and played the wii for New Years and then on Thursday Holly called and we made plans to go to Thermopolis Wy and have a soak in the warm water. On the way we encountered a snag when Holly's car broke down. It was a fluke malfunction. We were in the tunnels going through Wind River Canyon when her steering went out and then the car just shut off. Ron and I were ahead of her and I saw here just before we went though the tunnels. I kept looking for her and lost track of her. I told Ron to stop and wait. While we were waiting I just had this feeling that something was wrong really wrong and I was hoping it was just a flat tire (which seems to be Holly's thorn in her side) and not more but, as we looked for her along the road we realized that she was in real trouble. When we found her finally it was apparent that her car would have to be towed to a shop. So instead of continuing on to Thermopolis we decided to take it back to Casper. So Ron volunteered to ride in car as I pulled it back to Casper.
I was an adventure that had to be broken into two days but in the end we got the car home safe and we made it home safe.

Ron leaved to go back to work and the kids and I will just have one more week till school starts then we will be back to normal. I am looking forward to this new year. It seems that everyone makes a list of things that want to accomplish in the year to come. I just feel that resolving to do something seems like giving in maybe going against what you are. So I chose to set goals. I really want to keep my desk clean. I want to get back to exercising not to lose weight but just to feel like I did something each day. I really want to get an education. I may not get it all done but I would like to start and the best way to finish is to start. I guess if I can just grasp hold of a little bit of these goals I will be making a difference in my life.

If this is your first glimpse of my blog I hope you return and stay in contact and for Liz it is snowing well it did. I love the snow but I wouldn't mind a little bit of 65 either. Hayley loves the snow can't keep her out of it must be the snow from the 1 month of birth. Her heart is tied to the snow like ingrained. She can't wait to get to Jackson Hole for skiing and to see our friends there. If Mike or Jen read this she hasn't stopped taking about Pearl she wants to see her so bad.

Well I need to get the kids in bed. Love to all and happy New Year. Wish you were here.

Christmas

We have had a fast couple of weeks. I was gliding along volunteering in class rooms for the kids and then I tuned around and it was Christmas. I whipped up Christmas goodies and then we had Christmas with Ron before he went back to work. Hayley had a half day of school Monday Ron left and I thought I could rest and relax but I had like 2 min. and then it was Christmas eve. It got better though. The kids and I went to Ron's brother's house and had so much fun. We just relaxed and ate opened presents again and spent time enjoying the holiday. Sally (sister-in-law) commented on how having the kids around kept everything exciting. Just having their girls they tend to miss the energy that a 6 yr old 4 yr old and 3 yr old have for hours on end.

It got me thinking if she missed it I wonder how much longer I have before I realize I miss it. I am so thankful for my kids and love them so much. Even when they are puking or ripping the play room apart. I find that everyday they are with me I love them even more. Hard to believe but it is so true.

I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas.
Love

I've been obsessed

It seems like forever the last time I wrote. I feel like I am letting you all down. I have an excuse not a good one but an excuse just the same. I have been obsessed literally. I was encouraged to read a little book named twilight and I have been spending all my free time reading instead of writing and checking my e-mail and being a normal person. It is pretty funny. I am now finish with the third book and the only reason I am updating now is because I don't have the 4th book to read. Plus I haven't written for so long I felt everyone deserved a little update.

Ron got moved to a Rig in North Dakota. That is his news. Hayley is doing so good. After I quit expecting things she healed very quickly or what seemed to be quicker. I just kept telling myself that she wasn't making progress and that the things that were going on weren't right. It was after a call to the on call Doc over the weekend after we got home that I was reassured that what she was going through was normal considering she had had a major surgery. It is sad that that is what it took for me to stop trying to make her better and just let her heal. Linsie is good and just taking it easy they way she always does. Jackson is getting bigger everyday it is amazing how big he is getting.

We had a really good Thanksgiving. We spent it with Ron's family and it was great just to spend time with everyone. The kids got to play with their cousins that they don't see very often. Above is a picture of all Ron's siblings and there kids. Also Ron's dad.

Recently we have been battling a flu bug of sorts. The kids were sick on Sat. night and over Sun. morning. They seem to be recovering and now it is time to deep clean everything from the ground up not the most fun thing but a very important thing.
I hope all of you are doing well and hopefully I can keep up with this better. Instead of every three weeks.
